Authorities Uncover Over ₹50 Crore in Assets from Construction Corporation Official
Lucknow: The Vigilance Department conducted a major action in a corruption case involving Rajveer Singh, an Upper Project Manager from Uttar Pradesh Rajkiya Nirman Nigam (UPRNN). Raids were carried out on his properties located in Noida and Delhi.
The Vigilance Department raided five locations on Tuesday, linked to Rajveer Singh, in connection with a case of disproportionate assets. Raids were conducted at his residence in Sector 105, Noida, along with four other locations.
According to sources, Rajveer Singh, who is posted in the chief engineer’s office, has been involved in corrupt activities and amassed wealth beyond his known income. These raids revealed over ₹50 crore in assets from his properties across Noida, Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Aligarh.
At Sector 105, Noida, the raids uncovered:
- Jewelry worth nearly ₹1 crore.
- ₹1 lakh in cash.
- Multiple mutual fund investments, insurance policies, and demat accounts.
- Various important documents related to investments, savings accounts, and other financial transactions.
Rajveer Singh, a resident of Aligarh, was found to have several bank accounts containing considerable amounts of undeclared money, and his involvement in illegal dealings is under investigation. The full value of his illicit assets is expected to rise as investigations continue.
