Uttar Pradesh GDP to Reach ₹32 Lakh Crore by March 2025: CM Yogi Adityanath
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently announced that Uttar Pradesh’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is expected to hit ₹32 lakh crore by March 2025. His government is making significant strides to expand the state’s economic output, which has already reached ₹26 lakh crore in 2023-24.

Economic Growth Strategy Yogi Adityanath emphasized his administration’s dedication to achieving zero-tolerance towards corruption, land mafias, and organized crime, which he says hinder economic growth. He highlighted the government’s actions through One District, One Product (ODOP), which promotes local industries, boosts exports, and encourages entrepreneurship in the state. Land Mafia Crackdown and Police Reforms The Chief Minister discussed his government’s efforts to crack down on land mafias and how it has resulted in freeing up over 64,000 hectares of illegally occupied land. He credited strong policies, law enforcement reforms, and the hiring of 1.54 lakh new police officers with strengthening public safety and further encouraging business development.
Recognition of Special Contributors In a separate event, the Chief Minister honored the centenary celebrations of Padma Bhushan Pt. Ramkinkar Upadhyay at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, where he praised the work and values of this renowned scholar. Yogi Adityanath noted how influential figures like Pt. Ramkinkar helped shape cultural and religious traditions in India, influencing luminaries such as the country’s first president, Dr. Rajendra Prasad.
